Did you lot not "play out" as kids and generally casue a nuisance to others?

Yes, thought so.

Only saying that because I liev in a flat and there's no annoying little sts playing out near my windows/car.

Play classical music towards them at high volume.

They don't like this. It has a similar effect to the Claymore.

I ran a similar thread yesterday. If the kids are just playing and they are not causing damage or trespassing on your property, then Im afraid you will just have to accept it as kids will be kids.
Luckily the scum in my area were kicking their ball at my door, windows and car, which gave me the moral highground to go out and have a go. So far alls quiet and alls well.

Kids kicking a ball at a car is not really anything like kids making noise while climbing a tree.

Oh, I think you should reserve your judgement until you see the sort of carnage Mahler's 9th can achieve smile

How about... to appease you both.... Wagner's Ride of the Valkyries complete with helicopter gunships?

Or some strategic cuts to said branches. I'm sure some engineers on here can do the stress/strain calculations.

Would be a shame to go to all the trouble of putting that on without dynamiting parliament at the same time. Go on R for Ron Burgundy, do us all a favour!

Excellent idea, that' what I would do if the problem were tree climbing. If I was to cover the kids football in tar all I would get is a car looking like a dalmation.

"These bloody kids at the bottom of the garden"

Read the title, thought you had dug a hole & solved the problem.

As for cutting the trees down, why not just saw halfway through the branches & let gravity do the rest

Smear the tree branches with your own faeces, and I guarantee the kids will soon find something else to do very quickly.
this made me laugh...reminded me of a story which i will shorten and relate

picture the scene 2 neighbours one was a friend of mine anyway friends neighbours dog somehow kept going into his garden laying lawn tablets.

obviously my mate was not best pleased about it so complained. he did not get the best result so the following evening just after dark he went out into his garden with a spade and set about "returning" the dogs presents to the neighbours garden via air mail.

the following day he went outside into the garden and his neighbour was looking at the dog looking up into the tree in his garden and wondering how the dog had gone up into the tree to take a dump....classic
