Lazy Spa - Hot tub

Can't help, but sure Go-Outdoors have an offer on these at the moment, c.£250 iirc. My crash wants a proper hot-tub so i've been tempted by one of these too, and if it gets used may consider the real thing!
Let us know how you get on!
Exactly why I want a Lazy Spa, If we use it enough we will purchase a proper hot tub, just don't want to spend big money on a tub to find i get bored of it after a few months. Let us know how you get on!

odd question i know but do you sit 'on the ground' as you would in a normal kiddie paddling pool ?
They have a base apparently so your not sitting direct on the ground. From my research I have found out.
2-3 hours filling up by hose
Needs to be on level surface
10-12 hours to get it to 40 degrees.

Also don't be trying to recreate any wolf of wall street style swingers action as leaning on the edge will make the entire thing collapse and its a bugger to refill!
Well I won't bother buying one....That was my only reason Yea I read about the chlorine tablets ect.
Think I will have another hunt online for a deal and get one.

We got one with the same intentions, I personally find them too hot in the summer, yes I know I could lower the temp but then the wife moans its too cold (all women are reptiles lol) But in the winter its great.
I'm pretty sure ours only works out at around 50p a day to run once up to temp.
I'm in the Highlands in Scotland, it's never warm.........I'm pretty sure ours only works out at around 50p a day to run once up to temp.
Also where di you all buy them from?

I got a cheap one new last summer, really easy to set up etc.
However, we packed it down for winter & never got used again, sold it onto a mate of mine instead.
Note however that it blows water into the spa to make the bubbles for a ring on the bottom, because it's essentially blowing the temperature air into the pool from the outside it brings th temperature down, especially in the winter.
We ran ours for about 20-30mins one winters night & it had lost about 12'C in the time we'd had the blowers on,
I thought this would happen, similar to the ones at the swimming pool, they do on 10mins then off 10mins so it can head up etc. However, we packed it down for winter & never got used again, sold it onto a mate of mine instead.

Just thought I would update this.
Bought one yesterday and it arrived today - Lazy Spa Vegas
Also got the chemical starter kit, Lazy spa base which was £30 and turns out jus to be foam pads.
Its the 2016 Vegas so has some fancy power saving function on it.
Anyway there was NO instructions on how to add the chemicals so does anyone have any tips?
Just going to have a google and see what comes up.
EDIT
Problem solved - 31g of chlorine to get it going, leave it 24hrs and retest.

I started this thread in 2016 and that’s is just upgrade to spa number 2
The original lasted well, got a few punctures, the plug melted and I had to buy a seal kit for the pump, but I’m well impressed, it still goes but going to give it to someone.
Bought the Paris which is slightly bigger, has LED lights which are pretty cool, I’ve noticed they’ve upgrade the pump, the liner etc on it, they’re cracking, we’ve toyed with a proper hot tub but love this as the wee ones can splash about in it as well.
