It’s been hissing down here all day accompanied by a swift breeze. It was 20 degrees yesterday more like 10 today.
I have a 07:40 tee off time tomorrow. There is a substantial chance I may get very wet.

And those of you living in Lissingdowne are advised to take an umbrella.

Grandkids have gone to Wales today for half term, I'll join them tomorrow as I had to be at that client site today...
So I was thinking of getting the TVR out and heading to a local motor museum having an event tonight, but it was pouring with rain, and I think someone sprayed deep heat into my groin area during my 30 mins drive each way today, so I decided against it. Insted Asha got a local walk dodging the showers mostly
Not much food in, so I used left over gammon, mushrooms, sugar snap peas to make a risotto...

Tomorrow we have a company wide meeting about 'restructuring'.
Wonder if I'm joining Hammo, but I doubt I'd be so lucky...
That doesn't sound good Byker, what would you prefer?Wonder if I'm joining Hammo, but I doubt I'd be so lucky...
We have all hands brief's tomorrow, first one site wide, second one specifically for the machine shop, they've never done this before.

Thanks for that notification, Dicky.
I shall annotate my diary accordingly.

Pequod, JAYB and DMN amongst them.
The loneliness of the long distance trivial thread.

I miss those guys but also some of the members from the past who no longer contribute to this thread.
All this used to be so much more...younger....

"I know not all that may be coming, but be it what it will, I'll go to it laughing. It is not down on any map; true places never are. Better to sleep with a sober cannibal than a drunk Christian."

I've been to a funeral today, but at least it was someone who had lived life to the full and made it into his 90s.
Heaviest rain inevitably during the internment.

Well, despite the pervasive general sogginess, it's been quite an eventful day.
Following a successful MoT PASS YAY!!!
, I collected the C-Ma_ and drove it back home, then Mrs Robbo & I went in Carys Yaris over to Daughter #1's to join in the birthday girl's after-school celebrations. Pressies, candles and cake for Robbopoppetlet, and lots of cups of tea for me, and rosé for Mrs Robbo:
"Yes of course I dont mind driving us home, you enjoy yourself my dearest."![angel](/inc/images/angel.gif)
The motorhomies also joined us for an hour or so before they departed for their next leg of their jolly jaunt.
At 16:000hrs I received the pre-arranged call from Dave the physio guy requesting my attendance at my first session tomorrow at 13:00hrs for my next step on the path to physical perfection.
:wheeze:
I also checked in on Percy, reconnected the battery and fired up the trusty Cologne V6 on the first turn of the key. I just love that exhaust sound!![ears](/inc/images/ears.gif)
![cloud9](/inc/images/cloud9.gif)
A tasty dinner of chilli-marinaded salmon, cheesy jacket spud and salad washed down by a glass of Erdinger, and now it's time to send of my monthly meter readings and no mistake.
Then I can put my feet up and wind down a little.
All in all, a positive kind of day of steps in the right direction.
It would be nicer if more TT residents could experience a bit of positivity and better fortune than of late.
Would anyone care for a honey roasted peanut?![smile](/inc/images/smile.gif)
