Not exactly a super power but I've got a massive head. At 25"/64cm I've won every head measuring competition I've ever entered (we had a craze for it at work), stood on the side lines at a go kart track for lack of a helmet that fits and had to get the motorbike shop to order in a 3xl helmet especially. And since I am fairly average build I look like a dalek.

I'm sure there are bigger heads out there but not many.

I can fold a piece of A4 paper into exact thirds (accurate to a fraction of a millimetre) every single time. Great for sticking letters in DL envelopes - shame everything goes via email these days.

Useless indeed - you've been superseded by technology! biggrin

I have a genius level ability of saying exactly the wrong thing at exactly the wrong time.

Which has helped me lose many jobs, relationships, friends etc.

I wish was there was a wacky punchline to go with this statement but there isn't.

I can detect by smell people who have/recently had cancer.

It's a really long drawn out story and started when I was about 7.
Probably the least useless superpower on the thread.

I can predict with almost 100% precision which cars are going to spike massively in price. I have two techniques both of which work perfectly. I either put off buying one at which point they spike or I sell one about 2 months before they spike. So if I sell a car or procrastinate about buying one, buy buy buy.
IIRC there have been instances of dogs being able to 'smell' cancer, so I guess there could be a similar mechanism present in both humans and dogs.

You could offer yourself up for research - but perhaps specify that it must not include cutting you into little bits to see what is going on...

I've recently discovered I've got ADHD, which I'm told it a superpower... I'm not so sure. I've got perfect hearing, as in perfect for someone 20 years younger than me, but I rarely can hear what's said to me. I've got lightening quick reactions, but that generally just lets me have a great view of what's about to happen. I could misplace a horse in a lift, I'd bet I've got a pretty decent list of items I'm currently missing, if only I could remember what they were, or indeed form a useful list of them. I can instantly forget people names and indeed faces - I'm exactly equally bad with names AND faces. Oh and just for fun, my senses seem all messed up, because even though I love sunny weather, I can't sit in direct sunlight, or I can't hear anything.

Your superpower might be more impressive than you realise. You could be causing the prices to spike. Not just by selling a car, but just by thinking about buying one.

Have you tried spending a couple of months thinking about the purchase of the entire UK gold reserve?

On entering a virtually empty car park I have the ability to scan every single space and evaluate one of three best possible locations to park my vehicle taking into account distance to walk and likelihood of not getting my doors dinged.

I may have to try up to two locations before settling on the optimum.

My wife does find this power rather annoying.

I can stop my self hiccuping on demand. Annoys my wife when I say after 4 hiccups il stop. Seems to work with heat based hiccups(chilly) and general hiccups.

I do refer to it as a useless superpower too.

The ability to make a mental note of the four or five items I need to get on a quick trip to the supermarket, and come back without one of them. Every. Single. Time.

Numeracy related synesthesia

Numbers have colours in shapes in my head- when calculating sums i very quickly see the new shapes and colours and that's the answer to the sum- its not exact (ie multiple 3 3digit numbers is too complex- but i'd get to the nearest 100 almost instantly).

I was 34 when i found out this was a bit odd, when my wife asked what the fk was talking about that 4 is a red square and 3 is a yellow triangle

We share this superpower I'm afraid, although I've managed to refrain from losing a job with it.

(Best) friendship, oh yes, very recently too, and that hurt. A lot.

More of a curse than a superpower tbh...

Happens to me all the time, I must look like a walking 'Google maps'

I'm never able to help them, even in areas I do know they always ask for some random place/business I've never heard of. Makes me feel useless every time.

I'm trying consciously to stay quiet now and it seems to be helping. The good news is I have some very patient friends, the bad news is one of them recently may have finally have given up...
