then when I was raised I was given a little book with all the details of 1st to 3rd ceremonies
But some of the words are missing, or only the first and letter are there from hazy memory as my apron, gloves and books have sat in the loft for over 10 years now!

In the meantime I could letter of half it with you should you wish?

Wait until you do the memory test that is your fourth. Great fun, but you HAVE to prep for it, it's not like those that have went before.

Aye, I'll definitely do it at some point. I've been asked to jump in as SD for the forthcoming year though so I think I've got enough on my plate at the moment. hehe

SW for me, installation on Saturday.

As someone told me at LoI - only 5 more meetings to the chair.

Why? go for it now. Too many brethren leave it, (generally after bad advice) and never join.

I'm just too busy with my craft commitments at the moment and don't think I can afford to devote the time it deserves. Not whilst running a business and having a young family anyway. I definitely will do it at some point but certainly not this year.

Same here, on both accounts! Good luck! Additionally joined a Mark lodge during the summer, which was good fun!

Scary thought, isn't it. By 13th October next year I will be sitting in the big chair.

It's not the sitting in the chair bit that worries me, it's the prospect of expecting myself to get every ceremony word perfect for the year.

That and the likely response from my wife at the Ladies Festival...
