What I don't get is why the sink unit has to be so far forwards at all? If there's enough depth for a dishwasher then why couldn't the sink unit be the same depth as it? Then regular corner cupboard unit where current dishwasher is. Though I’m also not sure why the sink is so far forward.
The cost of the dish drawer will be outweighed by the ease of use and the fact that the kitchen won’t need to be dismantled to service it.
