It will never happen to me.........

Could possibly be my 1st post after years of mooching and generally just reading to pass the time. Its not a huge amount, but enough to kick the total over the halfway mark
However having lost both my Maternal and Paternal grandparents to the big C this has touched a nerve, the way in which you describe your wife- makes me realise how much i care for my own partner.
As my message on there says...keep your head high chap

So sorry for your loss. The death of a loved one is a hard thing to deal with. Brings us far too close to the reality about our own mortality. Sues memory keeps me strong and she will remain my rock until we are together again. I know she is waiting for me. Hope shes patient though cos got a lot of charity work to do !!!
Thank you again
Take care of each other

Tell me about it........I know i keep saying Sue keeps me strong but this is starting to try even me now. Just heard that hes got a throat infection which appears to be causing allhis probs. Bit like having tonsilitus. That makes us quite and gives us swollen glands and a high temp. Hopefuly picking him up about 7pm. Thanks for your concern mate.
