Isn't it always the "segregationists" who despise one group who seem to like this "hiving off" of discussion.
I quite enjoy the Science-specific forum which I believe you helped create.

Why?

What is "General Motorsport" anyway?

I cannot see the logic in having a separate Formula 1 discussion section and then another "lumpen" forum for all the remaining categories of motorsport.

I think it is a total, crying shame, that this has happened.
Hmm.
All you have to do is spend longer on the site finding stuff of interest. wink

And there's Loads of Good Stuff that is hidden away down various "back of the bag" sub zones on this site that really are excellent for information.

In fact perhaps it really is time to move on from the name "Pistonheads" as the site has devolved so far from the original???

Perhaps.

"Grumpy Old Argumentatives" might be the name for the new site.

Or "The Daily Mail Discussion Forum".

I can see the cold dead hand of Bernie behind all this.

Will someone start a thread for India so it at least looks like an F1 thread.

So what's the purpose of this? GM was hardly overflowing.

This kind of tidying should have been done just before the last race of the season imo.

Well done chaps!

If we ignore this forum and continue to post in GM, will the mods eventually take the hint and stop transferring threads here?

What's wrong with an F1 forum? It's easy to find F1 related topics. Why would you bother being a pain in the arse to the mods?

Possibly but when you enter a room be expecting the mods to go quiet and stop talking, cold shoulder etc.

Hello.

Hello!

HELLO!!

No, there doesn't seem to be anything F1 related in here at all.
Just an empty 3-page space of nuffink.

Perhaps the season finished early?

Oh well.

A cynical ploy to make sure you spend more time on here finding stuff that you could previously find on one forum. See the Porsche section to find the same bullst.

Ooh it's taken me over a week to notice this.
I thought it was weird the lack of F1 content in General Motorsport lately.

Or add the forums you are interested in to your favorites. Then when you click on "what's new" you just see everything from that selection.

We've all been through this before, forums are added occasionally.
