They look far better in real life for me, but they do photograph terribly I agree.

They’re certainly a challenging car to look at (I’ve seen a few in the flesh now) and can’t warm to them. I know they’ll be bloody fast and no doubt very good to drive but I can’t get in with the aesthetics.

They look a bit odd to me even in the wild, too wide for the length of them or something. And that rear end can never be saved.

I think the photo of the red one doesn't reflect how the rear looks like in the flesh. I still thought it was the weaker angle to start with but now I love it.

These definitely only look good in black to be honest... but I saw one in (very) dark green the other day, and that looked good too. Not an option on BMW website, so I was thinking maybe tinted PPF?
