Only just found this thread. Best thread I've ever read.I to have a massive soft spot for the lister storm, did some research on it resently after finding it in a primary school project i did about "cars" when i was just 10 years old!
They must go for millions now, only 3 road versions left, (they only made 4).
Anyone seen one for sale?
How much does a race car converted one go for?

The Lister name may well be reincarnating itself over the next year or two and certainly getting the work done on one is more than possible these days

sorry new in here and havn't got a picture but what about the jenson gkn fff100
four wheel drive big block keith black engine 0-100 and stoping quicker the the maclaren f1 but 30 years before
And from the day -four wheel drive big block keith black engine 0-100 and stoping quicker the the maclaren f1 but 30 years before
And from today
As the informed will see the interior is just as in the FF, only the body and hotter mopar engine really differed from production as I recall.
It's a mystery and a tragedy, http://www.joc.org.uk/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?p=29793...
the car was stolen hence we know it still exists, and reunited with it's owner who after the good - saving from being broken by GKN, came the bad - letting it sit in dust.
Oh and sure Mclaren and Ultima are as fast/faster in the dry, but remember this car also did 0-100-0 in 12.2 seconds in the wet. All in 1972, now I'd like to see the Ultima try that in the pouring rain.
Finally this car at 600bhp and was running carbs, they planned to use fuel injection for more power but it never happened.
That said it looks like Cropredy Bridge Garage might be looking to change that...

RUF Suer car

400 Monza GT
Hispan Suiza HS21GTG Concept
Sun Red SR21 - Based on the Hispano above
On a side note, i remember seing a couple of mad flat nose 911 in a book with, if i remember, six exhaust pipes. Anyone know of that book or a pic of the cars? Think it was by a tuner of somekind.

it would have to be a very good offer there is and was only one of these ever made
and with is history that in my eyes makes it price less its the sort of car jay leno would buy
I don't think you are far wrong, but in this market at this moment given it's going to need a full specialist rebuild say 30- 50k I'd say a realistic price would be 50kand with is history that in my eyes makes it price less its the sort of car jay leno would buy
That said re-manufactured Jensens were 75-100K but that was built to order, whether any one is ordering at the moment I don't know - the company has been restructured as Jensen Automotive Ltd. and is still trading, not sure what happened but I guess the recession again.
There could be someone out there willing to spend more. It is one of a kind.
the car has been dry stored for 30 odd years the latest pictures show it covered in dust that is it allright the engine has not turned over in 30 years but its not a rust heep 30-50 thousend you would not need 1-5 of that to put this car on the road in good condition 50,000 would not buy you a keith black engine in this state of tune

I think the £30-50K is a very fair estimate to put it back on the road with a sympathetic restoration (ie, not 'concours') as the car was really just an engineering 'hack'.Not sure what the point of the 'Keith Black engine in this state of tune' comment is about as it will clearly need a full engine rebuild now.
