I'm unlikely to have the funds but if I did it woukd be for my Mrs and likely continue racking up 30 miles a week!!! I'm gonna take a look, who knows, a deal might be done...a car like this fare badly at auction or with wbac which night be their options if there are no other like minded lunatics.
Edit...just checked WBAC offer 4200 for the car, garage want 12500!!
BCA (owners of WBAC) - according to my dealer mate - have turned into even more of s of late... I have also noticed a massive decrease in CAP clean values for anything interesting and off-piste... and last but not least - interesting stuff is struggling on the BCA platform. It really is, so that's forming a negative feedback loop.Edit...just checked WBAC offer 4200 for the car, garage want 12500!!

Fpr anything that's not run of the mill they're useless to use as a benchmark IMO, you're better off looking at similar vehicles for sale and see what the asking price is for those

Some cracking stuff as ever peeps, kept me going whilst camping up in the Highlands in the wind/rain/snow/wind/rain.....
I have driven past that 6 er at Westend 3 or 4 times this week and it looks rather nice indeed and that's coming from someone who never really took to the shape, they seem to be ageing nicely after all.
This weeks daft idea is in 928 land and the recent expenditure is quite err spendy....but I still rather like it even @ £22k

I drove a ‘78 928 this week.
Half the fuses out.
Paint bubbling on the doors.
Rust holes in the body.
Most of the interior dismantled.
Some engine bay parts missing.
Put a fresh battery on & it still started & drove around my mate’s yard.
(I’ll get some pics as it has to be seen to be believed!)
The engineering that went into these cars is incredible & they are probably Porsche’s high water mark.

Cheers L100NYY, interior on the black one looks quite fresh still. Never been in one but I suppose I see them as a sort of 2 door coupe version of my B10, slush-o-matic, GT rather than back road scratcher and very similar performance. Just rarely see them out and about now.
Ezzie Cozzie in mallard (?) went passed me on Tuesday, again rarely seen on the road (up here anyway).

Escort Cosworth is on my bucket list, would ideally be a totally standard early big turbo non airbag car in Mallard with Raven leather (ie a Lux).
Loved my Sierra 3dr Cosworth and the current owner is currently doing a nut & bolt resto on atm. Silly money now though, he offered it to me last year 90% done for £80k ish iirc. I sold it for £10k, albeit back in early 2000’s.
