How about these, love them, especially one with the chequered cloth interior, a good early S1......

Strangely the red top really appeals as apposed to the black. Not sure if its the very stark comparison between silver and black and the red breaks it up.

Too be honest, I would rather have that 'Vette in the background. It looks purposeful.

I don't care how much of a dog this car was, I would have on in a flash if I could. Had a poster on my wall of one for as long as I can remember.

I always liked the Renault Alpine A310, although it perhaps doesn't fully fall into the "supercar" category. Maybe the next generation of Alpine A610s would be more suited to the subject.

teacher I'll have to get my pedant hat on again....

They never made the Spectre R45 - It was a show queen and a runner was never built.

However....

The Spectre R42 was made, how many exist god only knows as the company lurched from one financial crisis to another.

Cracking looking car though. thumbup

It's for sale too if anyone is interested

1. The Lamborghini Jalpa.

I love these cars, and in my dream garage it would sit alongside an 80's Aston Vantage. It's another one of those cars that I dream about, and I could look at all day long. In my eyes it is just perfect.

Not everyone agrees though, and it's not the most celebrated Lambo made. For that reason alone I thought it deserved a PH discussion smile
They're not all unloved!

Some photos of mine:

Currently undergoing a full respray. frown

Lambourghini Jalpa? Hmmmmm i had a mad thought about one a few months ago when i had some spare money going about, even went to see one at Top Gear cars in Scotland. A fantastic little car, not the obvious choice when it comes to 80's Lambo's, based on the silouette (sp?), peach of a V8 and a targa roof for wind in your bald patch.

You can buy a Jalpa pretty cheaply but there is always the chance of a massive bill as it is a Lambo from the bad old days.
You'd be surprised: the problems are well documented, their is plenty of support for them and they don't go that wrong. Carlo, like his car, is pretty straight. The only issue with that car is the colour combo.

Finally a lot of people don't know what it is.

If you want to see a really unloved example:

Chaps,

Going on from Wheeler Dealers last night, i've started looking at Bentley Turbo R's.

What mental VFM they offer, you can get a really nice one for under £9k!

scratchchin How many weddings would i have to do to pay for it?

I'm interested to know if that is a genuine car. If so, my bank card is twitching........
shout STEP AWAY FROM THE CHEAP FERRARI!

If you want to bankrupt yourself then you might as well buy a 400 series as a V12 is always better that a V8.

Should get a 400 pretty cheap... scratchchin
End of the day you could go bankrupt on a 30k fezza, its just a case of having in the garage and you can say you own one
