Gallardo Spyder roof ram rebuild and microswitches
Discussion
My local specialist informs me that the small ram that's mounted horizontally above the offside front window has expired and taken the little limit switch with it.
Apparently Lambo don't sell these parts separately (indeed Eurospares show only one part number for the whole system) and want £6.5k just for the parts!
Obviously I'm not much on spending that, so wonder if anyone's experienced the same before and has a source of rams or perhaps a company who rebuilds such things?

In the end I took it to another specialist to get a second opinion.
They discovered that the roof mechanisms hadn't been reset correctly when the seized latch on the engine cover was replaced (the cover lifts as part of the roof processes).
They re-calibrated the various microswitches and the roof has been perfect since.
No ram rebuild or otherwise required, and only a (relatively) small bill
