Day to day driving, I bet it really won't feel like a power downgrade unless she thrashes the 330d everywhere. I really don't miss my E350d - unless you were really trying, the Born and ID3's responsiveness makes them effortlessly quick. Obviously they're not quick in the EV scheme of things, but compared to normal ICE cars, really are all you need up to 70mph or so.

Really enjoyed driving mine for the first three months.. although my wife has basically stolen it off me. It's a warm hatch really, but so much more responsive than anything else I've driven. The actual cost of the car is about halved due to the fuel cost savings, so that's a bonus.

That's the same spec as ours, colour looks great when the sun's out and it's clean Happy with that.
I'm paying £405/month after tax on a 3 yr SS with 14k miles per annum. We got it last March and it's done just under 19k trouble free miles now. Good little allrounder.

Guy drove it down from Birmingham which was a bit strange, I just assumed it would be driven locally or on a flatbed for that distance but there we are. He had no idea how he was getting back either, we live 3 miles from the nearest train station and there are no pathways so you can't walk it. Ended up running for a bus!
Anyway, very impressed so far!
Our plan is to use it as our main car for almost all journeys considering its £4 for a full charge on Ovo Charge Anytime, although we need to wait until June 1st for this but a full charge on the current tariff is about £14 so still a lot cheaper than ICE.
Infotainment will get some getting used to, seemed a small lag but both of us seemed to use it fine and no issue with the steering wheel buttons being pressed accidently, never even experienced this.
Very disconcerting driving without engine noise but I guess you get used to this. Without a home charger on a cheap tariff, we would not even have entertained this but at the moment, we can get a brand new car for about £200pm if we offset fuel savings into the cost.

They are undoubtedly a nice EV. We had a look at one but wanted the bigger 77kWh battery version to be able to do at least 200 miles in the Winter, but it only has 4 seats FFS!Like the look of these, what’s the real range like if I bought the higher spec?

For less than the 58kWh V1, we found a 87kWh Nissan Aryia Advance which, whilst an overly large and inefficient SUV, can at least seat 5...

I believe so. Funny how the 2nd largest car manufacture in the world, that orginated the hot hatch, actually signed off an EV that in its top configuarion, can only seat 4 people and yet the much cheaper MG4 with a 77kWh battery can seat 5. Obviously it's because MG are subsidised by the Chinese state and want to steal all our data, and not because VW are a bit crap.
Roll on import tariffs on Chinese EVs. That'll learn 'em.
