There seems to be a number of half decent deals or "interesting" cars around that are 2 Years. I'd typically do 3 years by preference.
Is taking a "good deal" of a 2 year lease just kicking the can down the road hoping things improve? And is there a particular reason manufacturers are doing shorter leases currently?

i am heartened to see more cars like this edging into deals territory!
All lumped in, monthly is £1,467! How is that half decent (unless there was a pricing error earlier). £35k for 24 months. Nuts.

It was about £850 per month yesterday.

Hi,
So I delivered to a Honda dealer this week, tells me the best deals will be in June as that is the end of the next quarterly target.

Likewise has the same confirmed by a Suzuki dealership.

I dont think all manufacturers work on the same quarterly targets, but a decent number do.
That’s retail sales though - mainly likely to be PCP.

The lease deals are still regarded as business deals and are often done through brokers - it’s not generally a quick enough turnaround to offer deals that have to registered that month, at least, not at any scale.
Fair point

I doubt any of us care if it’s a pure lease or a PCP, it’s all about getting the best deal.

As per usual, blown comes in with his flippant comments and tries to p*ss everyone off, got form.

In reality no one really knows what will happen, it's all a guessing game based on various factors. We could have another war kick off which halts parts production somewhere and then it will be back to walking and cycling for everyone - wouldn't that be novel.

so when you say "nobody knows what will happen" you're agreeing with me then.

Coming in and saying there will definitely be new amazing deals due to some bullst to do with the quarter and targets is the bullst being talked here.

anyway thanks for remembering me, i have no idea who you are.

You're such a blowhard. No-one is saying there will "definitely be new amazing deals", just that the new ZEV rules make it possible we will see some good deals fairly soon.

Lets just keep to posting leasing deals. I would say "good or great" leasing deals, but they are few these days. Leasing is a bit of a lottery and unpredictable at the moment. As always, if you see a deal that works for you, jump on it...

yes

Seems like unless you want a EV on a mega 12 month upfront, miniscule 5k mile, let's make the monthly sound good - deal, there's nothing much to talk about!

I've given up all hope of replacing my current leased diesel with another diesel early next year, looking at PHEV instead as I need something for 15/16k miles each year and EV isn't going to work and petrol only would mean a sizeable increase in fuel costs.

Fab deal if you want this beast.

£783 for a 3/23/10k. Which is our personal go for.

Can’t see anyone beating this at the moment. Even contract cars haven’t got this posted at present which is unlike them.

I have seen drive the deal advertising base of this with £22k discount, so without proceeding further to a dealer, unsure what a monthly pcp equivalent would be.
Worth trying out though if anyone n market for one. As sometimes even Tony @TRL can’t beat these.

Looks like a great deal for a big luxury wagon... Not sure if it's a mistake though as it jumps up with business selected..

Thought I would try a quick PCP quote and BMW Snows in Portsmouth came straight back offering £73,632 which is a saving of £20,148. Didn't get a quote breakdown. Cash price would be £73,631.

It all started with your childish stereotypes, followed by your unsupported assertions, followed by your dogmatic replies. That's why you were shot down. But as you say, back to the deals...

Worth enquiring to see if this craziness is gonna hit the uk shores:

https://www.thedrive.com/news/polestar-2-lease-dea...

$400pm amortised for 27months, would be around £320 directly converted. Here's hoping.
Let's hope so!

There's some stock Polestar 2's on Tusker which are nicely priced at the moment. For example the single motor/standard range version with no options and free paint on a 30 month contract, 15,000 miles per year for me is coming out at £444 a month (effect on take home pay) which also includes tyres, maintenance, insurance etc.

I have never leased or financed a car previously but I spent £435 on diesel for business mileage last month so was considering leasing an electric car through my ltd company. Was considering a VW ID Buzz. I am a vet and have a home visit euthanasia service.
Any tips for a newbie? Are the price fluctuations predictable at all. Am I likely to have problems as the business hasn't completed first year yet?

Thanks

Coming up at £935 for me for some reason. Monthly gross reduction is £1481. I wonder why such a massive gap.

I attended a Polestar test drive event recently and specifically chose to try this combo to understand what the "base" Polestar 2 is like. I was very impressed, although like a lot of modern cars it suffers with too firm a ride, even on the entry level 19" wheels. The only option on the car I drove (the grey one) was the Pilot pack to give active cruise and some other stuff, some useful, some not.

Personally, I'd very happily drive one for £444 a month with maintenance and insurance etc.

Weird, someone else on here said the same thing on another post I made for an iX2. THIS IS THE LINK I am looking at. My monthly gross reduction is £714 on this one.

I'm finding with Tusker their "to order" cars are very expensive, but some of the stock ones that pop up are much better. They don't hang around for long though ...
