Can anybody identify these and which one would you use?

I’ve just picked up a couple of kart frames for a stupidly cheap price. Both have issues, but nothing that can’t be resolved.

Not sure which one to use though or what brand they are.

The purple frame has had the seat brackets cut off, the guy selling them was going to use both for a bike engine build, but apart from that is pretty straight and clean.

The black one is a bit rough, missing the bars in front of the rear wheels, but has a much more sophisticated front end.

Decisions decisions.

Hard to tell with the black one, it has no rear axle. But like I said, I checked the purple one and it’s straight.

Is Simon still going? Used to use him in the early 90’s when I had a Zip with a 100cc TKM on it
