The orange house was just that it's switched on but not plugged in so was giving a charging error.
But good to know re: the 50% so thanks for confirming that. Car is a 22 plate so looks like they have since upgraded these units. Lease is up in May and honestly I think I'll be going back to a Tesla. I love Porsches and have had 6 911s from a 930 supersport to a 991.1 RS but honestly there are so many substandard things with the Taycan for a daily EV.
Interestingly this appears to be the newer charger then. The one that came with mine in 21 you can just go into the menu on the charger and select whatever amps you want. Mine is on a weird 208V/50A circuit and charges at 32A/6+kW.But good to know re: the 50% so thanks for confirming that. Car is a 22 plate so looks like they have since upgraded these units. I have the same charger which delivers the same dismal charging speed and I can't see any settings, buttons, or dip switches to improve performance - like you I get the 50% image illuminated, but not the orange house image.

Honestly can't believe how badly designed that is....also who wants to be charging at 1.3kw. Absolutely nobody.
What's the deal with servicing? My car has just gone 20k so I need to get it done.
Seems like total bs - just created a list of stuff in order to get service revenue. Like does the brake fluid really need changed?!
Anyway, I assume it's mandatory for warranty? It's a lease car so can I leave bits out? And what have people been paying?

how important is the 150 kw dc charger option on these?
I've 22kw charger at work , so want that facility, but do wakefield to galloway a few times a year, will the extra capacity of 150kw DC be a tangible benefit?
I didn't spec it and got 174kw from a BP Pulse the other day - is this not down to the whole 400v Vs 800v charging debate?I've 22kw charger at work , so want that facility, but do wakefield to galloway a few times a year, will the extra capacity of 150kw DC be a tangible benefit?

£592.20 inc. VAT for 2yr at under 12k miles. OPC Wolves.Seems like total bs - just created a list of stuff in order to get service revenue. Like does the brake fluid really need changed?!

However, I do not drive like a holigan (on roads anyway) and don;t ahve PCCB. Have heard some eyewatering service recommendations for those who tick both those boxes, because the TC uses the rear brakes for diff locking and stability.
Only things on list were things I'd want done anyway: brake fliud swap, pollen filter.

There is a lot of confusing stuff around servicing and I had expected my upcoming 1st to be under £400 given its just brake fluid, pollen filter and some coffee!. Some want to charge over a grand 'cos drain holes'. Driving me absolutely potty as the service people are NOT singing the same tune or giving ANY clarity on what needs to be done.

Best from 800V charger was Ionity at 266kw which is nearly the theoretical Taycan max.

I’d definitely recommend it, given the relatively small cost - primarily for if/when Tesla open up their network.I've 22kw charger at work , so want that facility, but do wakefield to galloway a few times a year, will the extra capacity of 150kw DC be a tangible benefit?
The 22kw upgrade is much more expensive and likely to be of less benefit for most people - However, I have it (as we have 3-phase at home) and it sounds as though you will get good use from this.

My supplied (2021) charger will go to 32a single phase if swopped to its blue commando input cable. Its unlikely they will do 3 phase - but it comes with a big manual so check. I'm sure it will do single phase 11kW if you have the correct input lead - you can swop them and I think it comes with 3.

Thanks, I have been using the old style charger with three phase and the blue three pin lead since I got the car, my new one that I got yesterday has a different charger a white one with less buttons but still has all the leads inc the blue one. Will have to plug it in and see what happens …. Or just ask Porsche !!
Thanks

I think you need a different plug (red?) to connect to 3 phase (or at least to get the benefits of doing so).
