Numbers of M3s built is on Wikipedia, it looks much the same as the numbers in Graham Robson’s book which I bought when I owned one (1997!) so would be thereabouts

How's he finding the millington?
Significantly cheaper to run than the M3 engine when o spoke to him!

Not strictly true , there were 2 black cars, 4 red , and iirc a moonstone blue one .
Yes some were resprayed when Ford rebuilt many of them before sale as they were rather hurriedly assembled to get them Homologated. However they were all intially white.
