Yeah it is nice I do like it.
You can't see out other than forwards. The roof unfortunately can't slope that low as it obscures your side vision
Perhaps try a Stratos type cabin, that would work
Why would you wan't side vision..., but I understand what you mean...I would need a better chassis image to show a better side view...if you have something similar but directly from the side, it would make it easier to read the sketch. You can't see out other than forwards. On that page i was linking – the following photos appear of his creations.
Union Jag
Quick Comp, Does anyone recognise the front Grill?
Ferrabusa
He has also done a 34 Ford hot rod with a Locost style frame so that it handled as well as a V8 powered bike using a simcar engine. Ill have to try and find some more photos of them. I have only seen photos as I have missed catching up with him whenever he has been down here.

Wasn't sure whether to put this here or in the 3 wheel cabin scooter thread, but I'll put it in here because this is a 4 wheeler , either way it isn't a kit car, but its interesting. There's a new Audi concept on the way, for a 1+1 city car, probably an EV. Officially, they have released these sketches today, ready for the Frankfurt show...

Unofficially, this has been seen out and about...

So it is a runner and not 'vapourware' thats never going to work. If anyone can translate the Dutch article better than Google can, what are they on about?
I like this concept because it's very close to the kitcar ethos and the idea of a sliding roof has been in the back of my mind for quite a few years now...http://www.autoblog.com/2011/08/09/audi-urban-conc...

I would love a replica of the old 50s F1 cars (cigar shapped things) but with wheel guards so it could be used on track days. Single seater. Dunno if a kit exists?
I expect they do at super high prices but I dunno why a reasonably priced kit couldnt be produced, cant be any more complex than a 7 surely?
This is the only single seater that I've found on the net that would fit your brief, I believe it's a street legal Lotus 51I expect they do at super high prices but I dunno why a reasonably priced kit couldnt be produced, cant be any more complex than a 7 surely?

Check the designers website for more images of his threewheelerhttp://home.online.no/~selode/design/cars/3w-Messe...
I'm posting a few images of a concept car exhibited at the Frankfurt Show 2011 that could be manufatured by any kitcar company, maybe slightly more lowtech but still feasble .
