What's going on between 4 and 5k?

Good total power though. That'll feel terrifyingly fast in an Exige.

I once had a little spin in a vx220 with similar power

Difficult to explain the sensation being a mere mortal - breathtaking wouldn't explain it, it's the sort of acceleration where your eyes cant keep up with your surroundings. Quite a weird physical/optical experience.

Epic build - this thing will be an absolute track weapon! I can only imagine how quick each gearchange will come as it climbs through the revs in each gear in something so light.

Just over 12 years since this thread started and the end is in sight...

The boys pulled out all the stops to get it back and screwed together for it's first track outing since 2016! Took it to anglesey, unfortunately i couldn't make it but the car made it back in one piece, only casualty being a broken SC impeller which obviously stopped play, will be adding some finishing touches to the map with a live session and fitting the dash panels before the next TD at silverstone in november...

It looks great. A broken SC impeller is a pretty significant failure, what caused it?

Had to make new brackets for the dash, they are all glued in OK, so dash can go back together, and cill protection stickers along with no step stickers fitted, followed be a spin up the circuit....
