Well the Yellow 964 RS is off to the races....bid to £100k already ! Ashgood which I assume is the dealer and Mr Car Guys has been bidding on it too. Looking through the images and description it looked every inch as good in the metal as described on the site...I’d forgotten it was a TJS car as well. Be very interested to see what it gets to....fantastic car and not easy to find in that colour/condition.

If you are genuinely interested in buying that, would you not be better off at starting to bid nearer the end? Otherwise are you not showing your hand a little early? Also I’d be tempted to bid covertly if I was Damian!

All sorts of theories as to what is the best way to buy at auction. I wouldn’t show my cards early doors personally but some people like “being involved”
I remember the 964RS from this thread. Lovely car.

This looks a lovely car. It popped up suddenly in the auctions list although I never saw it in the coming soon list.
Anybody on here?
Met reserve already so it’s going to do well I would think.

A good example of how one of these CC auctions should run, with the seller actively involved in answering questions, offering viewings in person and/or live chat via facetime etc...

Edit: Just realised the seller is a PH'er and poverty pork poster

The silver 996 ending shortly is indeed a good example I think of an owner showing he's an enthusiast and actively responding quickly and in detail to queries raised. I was speaking with CC about selling something & have a PH who is now doing the same and they were very keen to see low reserves applied to the lots, although anyone with a decent car/history and in good condition should be realistic/firm if they want to set a reserve as you can always lower it during the auction if necessary.
Good photos are essential as is showing all the SH including even the smallest invoices. If you've an exceptional car that's almost like new underneath, make sure the professional photographer you use takes pics to show it.
It'll be interesting to see how much the C2 goes for as it's not got long to go....

Nice car. Always loved the shape of the 993. Price is strong or is that about right?

Low mileage 993 4S in a rare colour and low mileage....my guess is £120k. Think it was Paragon that had a very low mileage car last year for something like £170k which sold quite quickly. Maybe £120k is low ! https://collectingcars.com/for-sale/1997-porsche-9...

Lovely car and I must say the colour would not be my first choice but looks great.

The silver C2 made £17.75k plus commission in the end.
I don't know the car, but from the description and photos it looks really nice. I would add some nice buckets to it and you have pretty much a perfect car. if i didn't already have a 996, I would have most likely bought that. hornbaek said:

Lawrence Dallaglio has a slightly similar number plate on his Range Rover (for obvious reasons). Will be in in interesting to see what this goes for...73 RS Touring which has been re-shelled and has a few chassis upgrades, isn’t the original colour etc. Certainly used as intended !
