The time has come for some new rubber all round. It's a 997 Carrera S. 295/30 R19
Where's the most competitive place to buy them from. I've been quoted £270 for rear and £235 for fronts...

Always worth checking black circles, event and e tyres as well. They often have offers depending on what brand you want.

Camskill were cheapest mail order for me.

But my local tyre shop (Chirstchurch tyre co) managed to come within about £10 total inc fitting so I let them do the entire thing (even though they would have accepted me supplying the tyres). So for about £650 I have a complete set of N rated tyres on my C2.

If you don't need n rating consider Falken FK 453. I'll put them on my 997 once it's out of warranty and a friend loves them on his 996 GT3. The previous 452 was excellent on our Boxster.

If your not doing n rating, only one tyre to consider, SuperSports! No other tyre even comes remotely close and though they cost more initially in the long run they will save you money as they last so long.

I've just bought a set of Michelin PS N3s from pneusonline. They were cheaper than anywhere else incl. Camskill.

KwikFit are doing a 25% off deal on Pirelli this month I believe.
Heard the ad on the radio, although the website says nothing of it.
Easily the cheapest for my P Zeros and it seems the discount is incorporated into the price.

Not a fast diver these days, just cruise.

8-10k from rears aren't great. Is the rubber compound the same used in F1!? High degradation and all

In that case you can probably nearly double that figure.

I've got a 1999 996 Carrera on 18" Turbo wheels.

Can I check that these are the correct tyres I need to purchase for the rears?

Correct for a 11" wheel. 285/30 for a 10".
