Matching N rated tread depth - puncture!
Discussion
Hit a pot hole & picked up a front N/S puncture in my CGTS yesterday!
Does anyone know what the tolerance is for N-rated tyre depth as the new tyre will be a 6mm but what can the other side be at before they say both need replacing?
Pirelli P Zero are fitted currently. Won't be looking to swap all 4 as the tread depth is decent on the other tyres.
Question is, can I use a mobile fitter or does the car need to go back to OPC? Porsche Assist did give me the option of going to another garage but nowhere was open yesterday. Presuming I'll need a new TPMS valve too; so does it need to be coded in via PIWIS?

Thanks all for the info. Will be speaking to OPC's tomorrow. Bracing the wallet!
If I have to switch both fronts then I might go for a full set of Goodyear Eagle F1, used them on my 987 & was happy with them.
But they are advertised now as run-flat tyres on 981 so if anyone has experience then I'd love to hear!
