Bonnet pins/ fasners
Discussion
I'm not fitting mine either, but Daz has bagged them. FWIW, They look very very like the Sagaris standard factory fit ones. I am sure they are the neatest bonnet pins you can fit and will look fine, and give total confidence.
I got keen when the bonnet was not just flapping around, but actually popped open at 135mph despite being held down with gaffer tape.
But mine is a navy blue later (1999) car, so a dark colour car with no exposed aluminium anywhere (no hinges, no door handles). Just couldn't make my mind up on how they would look, and never got around to drilling the holes. I am sure they would look great on an earlier car, or on a light coloured car.
While umm-ing, I got advised to replace the splitter under the nose.
So I did the splitter first, and tightened the bonnet catch, and at 170mph on a track day the bonnet wasn't flapping, so replacing the splitter (metal strip under the car, pointing forwards, about a foot from the front) seems to have done the trick. BTW, they all had one originally, but 98% of cars have wiped them off on the scenery.
