Not used the car for over a year, checked oil and coolant were just change prior to lay up. 1st turn of the key it tried to start and stalled 2nd burst into life no problem, tho was shaking abit on tick over of around 1000rpm it revs fine with a flick of the throttle, also exhaust seems very noisy at the top of the main cat. Can't see any holes in the exhaust.

Car - No pre cats, std cat. Coil packs and emerald ecu

The only thing I can't think of is maybe 1 cylinder is'nt firing which would cause the rough idle would the unburnt fuel cause the noise in the exhuast?

Whats the eaisiest way to work out which cylinder is at fault?

pop the plug leads off one at a time, if nothing changes when you take one off that's your likely culprit.

Use rubber handled pliers...

I`d get some fresh fuel in there as well.
