3-4 week wait at last count, they're only replacing faulty and not all, as there is such a back log (thank watch dog) cars with this engine (Audi, VW, Seat, Skoda)all over the world have been grounded for upto 2 months in some cases! get onto Audi UK belly ache all the way to the top untill you get a like for like car, we had to go this route after being palmed off with a diesel estate for our TT Conv. we soon had a TT delivered to our home (they will doit) good luck!

cheers all....
looks like the largest problem is sorted. Called Audi Customer Service last night, at 0830 this morning an Audi engineer was on site fitting a new coil - very impressed

I have requested that the remaining three be changed b4 I take it on a very long journey abroad, which Audi are arranging with my local dealer.

Seems that C.S is the best way forward, and if the reasoning is good enough you can get them to change them all in one go.

excellent news S3, they're obviously catching up now, about bl**dy time, all of ours have also now been replaced.
