Gonna ditch my Blackberry for this. My friend has it. Its just a superb phone, with great features and perfect touch screen better than the iphone smile

Within a matter of minutes my phone went from having 17mb free space to just 7mb! I hadn't updated any phone apps and run app2sd. I've cleared the cache but nothing! What's going on!

I've had my Desire for a year and perfectly happy with it. Contract now up - do I go for a Desire S or is there something better just around the corner?

I've been looking at getting the Desire S this week, Im in the same boat though..dont know whether to get a Sensation instead.

On Vodaphone:

Desire S - 30.00 per month

Sensation (avalible in next few days) - 35.00 per month

Is it gonna be worth the extra 5.00 a month I wonder??

Suppose I didn't ask that question very well for the more concrete thought of internet land.

What I meant was the very small differences between the S and the sensation don't seem to justify the price difference. So to put the question a little better. Why is everyone recommending the sensation above the other HTC phones? What is the difference that people consider to be its selling point?

For me the Desire S is not that much of an upgrade over the original and I'd rather go SIM only until something much better came along (a moot point as I'm 13 months into a 24 month contract).

The Sensation is just that 'much better' phone, I'd wait a few days and pay the extra fiver. As always though, it all depends on what you want the phone for.

Yes, it will. When it launches I think the Desire S will have to drop in price as well, so it is worth hanging on either way.

I got mine from phones4u on Vodafone for £32pm 24mth contract and £50 for the phone. Great deal IMO.

Just checked my bank statement. Got 4-5 £1 "overseas transactions"

Checked on google. It's something to do with the Android market and buying apps listed in $ or Euros.

I don't really mind, It was just a bit of a surprise. I'd never bought apps before until last week frown

Noo! Sorry didn't explain very well.
Say the apps were £3 each. That was taken out.

Then for every app I downloaded, There was a £1 charge taken a day after.

Ahh! I see.

Which is why I have never yet paid for an app. If it costs, there is a free version somewhere. For the amount of time I use the app, I can live with a few adverts.

I think that's your bank charging you £1 for the privilege of letting you spend your money in anything other than pounds, not Google.

Try a different card if you have one.
