I'm using mine now. Makes my iPhone 3G look rubbish. It's very very fast.
Browsing is quicker over 3g than my iPhone is over WiFi.
Very impressed so far.
Have you used a HTC Hero? If so how does it compare?Browsing is quicker over 3g than my iPhone is over WiFi.
Very impressed so far.
Does Bluetooth work properly on your Desire?

whatever you do, don't get the HD2 - I've just about had enough of it freezing on me. I think HTC are releasing so many phones, so quickly that software testing is just going out the window
Didn't know you'd got that. Am gonna sort out a Desire tonight....I mean the phone...nothing else...DrTre said:

It's fantastic - i've had it paired with my car for hands free and it's seamless. Sound quality is excellent.
As you would expect it has effortless integration with google systems, no more storing all your numbers on the sim card - just sync them with google and never have to worry about transferring them again.
GPS is awesome too. I was using the MyTracks app today, very cool if you're into walking / cycling etc.
Unfortunately i had to give them back as they were for the company, but i'm due an upgrade in June - hopefully the rush will have calmed down by then.
Get one, it embarrases the iPhone.
Oh - something else i found awesome, i transferred loads of albums onto it by simply using it as a hard disk, no iTunes, no bespoke file types, no messing about. Drag and drop - job done.
It's lightening quick too. Battery isn't bad but that will depend on useage.

I'm typing on it now and it is recognising nearly all mistakes despite my sausage fingers! I've added some widgets to the home page but now can't get rid. Only criticism so far is that it doesn't come with a manual and its somewhere on the phone. Streaming video over YouTube is superb
No-one had a problem getting hold of one then?
I went to a T-Mobile store at lunchtime expecting them to have them in but they didn't and couldn't tell me when they're getting it (they said possibly wednesday).
Phoned up T-Mobile sales who said they had some in Friday but they had all gone, but were getting some in Tuesday and couldn't tell me when the shops were getting them.
Phoned up T-Mobile at Oxford Circus and they told me it had been delayed by 2 weeks due to a technical fault.
After a quick Google different reports say that it failed last minute T-Mobile quality checks and won't be dispatched to the stores until after the bank holiday weekend.
Others say it was a technical fault which mean it will be delayed on all carriers.
Anyone know how quick the post is? I don't live at my billing address so can't really order it online, although am going back there for Easter. Any chance if I order it tonight it will be delivered by Thursday?

Press and hold on the icon for the widget then drag and drop onto the bin that should appear on screen (if it's anything like android 1.6)..Can't wait for Orange to start releasing this.. getting very excited..

Fingers firmly crossed.
I'm due an upgrade on Orange. Went in my local CPW and they had three Desires delivered today but they cant do a deal anything like T Mobile. Orange internet fair usage policy is 500mb whereas T Mobiles is 3gb. So Ive given notice with Orange and done an online order with T Mobile tonight, although they dont have any in stock.

Indeed, but if you called them you would have known for sure! I'm sure it will be fine anyway.
Fingers firmly crossed.

Indeed, I had a look at Orange tonight so that tomorrow if T-Mobile say that it isnt possible etc I could do the "Oh but Orange is offering this..." I have decided that all this would achieve is the T-Mobile agent laughing at me and telling me to go waste my money.
