daily driver ? if so spec seems fine to me but I don't like the power plus steering ,I'd make sure you know if you like it or not before buying a car with it.https://finder.porsche.com/gb/en_GB/911-Carrera-GT...

I think Power Steering Plus can be deactivated by the OPC....although it doesn’t bother me !
The main spec issue with that car is that it’s not got extended leather which I think is knows as the GTS Interior so it’s got a plastic dash which is not ideal and it’s got the standard seats so limited adjustment and not as much support as some of the other options. Letter is obviously very personal. Can’t remember what the seats look like without the GTS interior/whether they have the alcantara inserts etc.

Now you've said that about the dash I can't un-see it! Its missing the GTS Interior pack inc the carbon accents. Big miss on a GTS tbh, as that is one of the unique spec elements for the model.
IIRC, its leather dash w/ deviated stitch in red or silver, alcantara wheel with marker, tacho in red/silver, lower dash in alcantara, door cards in leather/alcantara w/ deviated stitch and same in the back. You could have had any of the seat options with the GTS pack IIRC. Mine has 18ways. They are leather outers, alcantara inners and red stitch etc.
Definately dont need a front axle lift on a gts either

That price seems a bit toppy tbh.
There's a big 991 gts thread here: https://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&...

Yeah would be a daily driver, in-so-much as I only do around 5,000 miles a year. Thanks for the heads-up on the steering will check it out - what don't you like about it?
Makes the steering too light and just felt disconnected ,I also understand that on the 992 you can't have it removed like you could on the 991.1 and 991.2?

Power steering plus you only feel at parking speed. It saves effort parking. Other than that you don’t feel it. I wouldn’t refuse a car if it had it, I actually like it.

Yeah the EPAS isn’t the best when compared to a GT3 but the engine is a masterpiece.
For the money and bar a GT3 the GTS is probably the best N/A 991.1 out there.
I kept mine 2 months, hated how it drove. great engine that's it.For the money and bar a GT3 the GTS is probably the best N/A 991.1 out there.
I would take a 991.2 GTS as a daily. 991.1 EPS is utter dire crap.

Compromise either way I guess with the .1 and .2. The EPAS doesn't bother me at all and not once have I thought it was utter crap. I would take a 991.2 GTS as a daily. 991.1 EPS is utter dire crap.
Your .1 GTS might have been a Friday build lemon and you were unlucky.

Gen 1 all the way.
Gen 2 was the first Audi-fied non-GT 911.
Fair enough to prefer the Gen 1, but Audi doesn’t come into it. The Gen 2 is still a 991 and it has a flat 6 developed specifically for the car. Plenty of upsides, with little improvements across all the areas and an engine that works so well for any use, but in particular daily driving. Gen 2 was the first Audi-fied non-GT 911.
