I ask as I was daft enough to get myself a Leopard , and the novelty of being pitched in with just tier 9 and 10 tanks 99% of the time wears very thin, very quickly. Incidentally , I assume that there are prem rounds available for its best gun, can this have a dramatic effect on it hitting power, can they (PRs) cope with tier 5 vehicles? Cheers

I've not tried premium rounds on it but with standard rounds I'm only doing about 10% damage to higher tier tanks if I hit them. Think tier 6 is the highest Iv'e seen a game.

Premium rounds in arty generally don't do more damage but instead increase the splash damage radius. As the splash damage capability of small arty is pretty minimal anyway, premium rounds don't really make sense.

Nice - if anyone has the AMX 12t researched but not in their garage, buy one now, because it's going up to tier 6 and you get its tier 5 replacement in a free garage slot with a 100% crew Also, any tanks above it are worth buying now if you were contemplating them because they'll be a damn sight more expensive tomorrow!

Blimey, that's a lot of XP to move up to T10 from my Tier 9s. I'm nowhere the top gun on the T54 yet, let alone going on from there! A fair bit of work to do in my JT and Obj704, too (both got about 4k or 5k xp, so that's 200k or 300k to go....). I just hope they have been balanced to turn a profit while I'm doing it, otherwise I just won't bother.

MMing feels, after a few games, a bit fairer.... on the down side, it seems like the roles within teams are a bit less clear; I'm sure we'll all get used to it.
Loads of ELC AMXs about... so small, I'm amzed they even have 2 crew! And looks like they'd be a LOT of fun with the 90mm mounted.... might buy one to play with, even tho it's a few steps back on that line for me.

ELC AMX i'm not so sure about it, sure the 90mm is a good gun (you can three shot a B-grub butttt and it is a proper J-Lo, the turret has the articulation of a standard TD and it takes ages to load (it is also a single shot gun, not an auto loader).
E-75 after a two battles, one victory and one loss. I so far have this to say about it:
In a game where you are top dog and everything else is tier 8 and lower drivers of tigers and IS tanks crap themselves and leg it (or the IS driver did after I stuck one through the front of him (top 105mm gun) That gun will also go through the front of a Tiger II turret.

the elc is a bit strange. Very limited traverse - its more like a TD. The top gun is very slow to reload (5 rpm) although does a fair amount of damage.
Think small TD, not light

Im thinking im going to just stay in the Grille and put some of those goodies on it.
Im more into strategic gameplay and I am not convinced I am going to gain anything by grinding up to tier 10 that I cant get at the mid tier.

I'm thinking similar too. General internet wisdom seems to reckon tier 5 makes about the most money. I've not made it to 100% training on anyone yet so I plan to carry on playing my tier 5 stuff when I get there to train them up fully and go a lot slower on grinding the higher levels. Main advantage I can see of the higher tiers is you get more skilled players. Geting put on a team with a bunch of lemmings is getting annoying in the lower tiers

I'm getting fed up with assault mode at the moment... it's hard work when you're attacking and the defence have any sense at all...

Struggling to come to terms with the fact thst there are now quite a few more tanks that can cause me problems front on in the t95. Just been killed rather quickly by two tier 10 meds. No longer the bludgeon in as many games. (only another 240k experience for the level 10 TD....)

Has anyone been on the new maps? Not seen them at all despite them beng there.
New mm appears to make things easier - won more games than normal today. I think with a smaller spread there are less 'top' tanks to be relied upon
