Anyone else spot the MLRS in the extra vehicles, base rape on a whole new scale anyone?
And an AC130 sounds absolutely epic... Can't imagine it'll be great on the consoles unless they bump the map size and player count mind.

When the map pack comes out, the first thing i wish to do, is turn the AC130 into a Jihad plane of death.
I can only imagine the horror and carnage it will cause!
Oh and i would imagine there will be some new massive maps for the new stuff as i cant see a AC130 on caspian or firestorm as they are a bit small.

OK, I've bought premium (and have the new assigments etc) for the PS3 - how do I get the CQB maps?

How much memory are the maps likely to take up? I'm still on an old 40gb ps so might have to delete loads of other game data

Put some serious effort into the new Location Scout premium assignment last night - what is the point of the L96 sniper rifle?
It's not as accurate as the M98B, has more bullet drop than the M98B and isn't semi-automatic like the SVD. It basically takes the worst aspects of all of the other sniper rifles and combines them.
It took a while to get used to, but I now only need 2/25 headshots and 10/50 kills and I can throw it away never to use it again.
Some of the other assignments look interesting and should keep me going for a while. Some of the new weapons look pretty tasty too.

Had a couple hours on the game (old maps) last night - suppression is massively reduced. You've now got a decent chance of fighting back if you get jumped and you can no longer take out LMG toting support guys with a pistol (unless they're really rubbish!).

Played for an hour on the new maps this morning, they are not what I want out of BF3 tbh, roll on the next maps!!

I'm not overly interested in CQB on BF3 but will give them a go. I need to find an empty new map server so I can have a wander around.
