I'm driving to Uig this morning en route to Harris. Look out for a white Evoque and a hot dog.
Ah so it was Charlie barking at me as i passed the co-op in Portree at 8:15 this morning..

I was a few miles down the road when, it clicked on me i had seen that dog somwhere before, and a white Evoque, parked in the car park..

The thread title did say "random"!

And I don't know if it was worth risking my fisheye lens for this (the glass is so exposed if you look at it it'll scratch!), but anyway it survived and I like it hehe:

A very early shoot. (not the sort the Flickr uploader could cope with.)smile
Took this afterwards.

LQ I was prepared. I had 3 dogs with me. wink

It got really hot later but I didn't fancy this beach to cool off.

Been shooting huge amounts recently, but not much stuff that I've been able to post. Did a private shoot yesterday for a friend with a stunning GT3RS at Croft biggrin

Its a nice George but IMO it looks like the car has just been pasted on to the background.

Very impressive!

But I have to say... My first impression was that it looks an awful lot like a screenshot off a game. Have the skid-marks and the blur had a bit of a "helping hand"? wink

Do I see the orange strip of the steering wheel at the top of the wheel? This would indicate that the steering wheel was straight - the front wheels say different. I may be wrong, but it was the first thing that I noticed.

Yes, kind of what I was going for at first. Then I thought it looked too much like a computer game, but couldn't really bring it back to 'reality' very easily... Oh well, I still like it!

Nice use of a high rig George. Just to be really picky, clone out the orange mark on the steering wheel that shows the centre, as it doesn't match the angle of the wheels.

Also did you use contrast masking as there's a slight halo around the rear wheel/wing shadow. That slight line of brightness just needs toning down a little.

Still -how much fun is that getting to play on a racetrack for a day smile

The steering wheel is as it was in shot, I haven't changed the angle of the wheels.. Someone else has pointed it out though smile

Just sorted the halo, thanks thumbup

Only had about 5 minutes tops on track with the Porsche as the shoot was actually of something else. Had tracks to myself quite often recently with my work though which is awesome biggrin
