K12beano said: I like that K12beano, its ones of those shots that your eyes keep searching around looking at all the details. top stuff. Is it HDR or a very nicely balanced exposure. (It doesent look like HDR so if it is then hats off to you for getting it right!) A couple of random ones from my recent 365 shots: 2012-06-19 by jimmyb156, on Flickr 2012-06-20 by jimmyb156, on Flickr 2012-06-23 by jimmyb156, on Flickr This one isn't the best photo in the world, but i was impressed with myself being able to handhold at 1/4 sec with no IS 2012-06-27 by jimmyb156, on Flickr C&C welcome as always!

I like the topical cyclist shot jimmy156 said: Is it HDR or a very nicely balanced exposure. (It doesent look like HDR so if it is then hats off to you for getting it right!) It has been so tempting to try HDR (and Norwich would quite happily allow you to take tripods and all sorts of lighting gear in - I know, because I asked!) but I resisted and instead have been letting the camera do the work. I have even been taking them hand-held (still finding the viewfinder "spirit level" gimmick really useful!!!) with cranked up ISO to test just how far it is reasonable to go (3200 easily!) (I tried an HDR at Wells, but never really got comfortable with it - the only problem areas being including the glass.)

I was going to put this in Portraits, but seeing as I messed up the composition it's probably more Random My g/f wanted me to take a photo of her eye makeup. Messed that one up a bit

Took my car (with a bunch of other Pisonheads) to the Gairloch Gathering today. Some nice motors.

Had our local fete last weekend, I don't normally photograph people so it was a bit of a challenge for me, this is one of my favorites: Damn Fine Jerk Chicken by iainsr, on Flickr

My favourite shot of the stunning sunset behind the Cuillins on Skye, shot from the hillside to the East of Loch Dughaill (which has the light reflecting on it's surface)... Quiraing Daytrip - Image - 86 by www.bazpics.com, on Flickr
