Aye, uses MAP & lambda sensors to determine fuelling etc.
Might be a different ECU, or different software, so not sure how easy it would be to convert (or if there are any benefits other than a determination to fit cats, that most S3C owners are removing).
I had looked at removing the AFMs just because they restrict the air flow to the engine. I was looking at tuning and improving the engine but it doesn't really make sense financially so I'm now thinking about a 24V conversion in the future though rather than improving my 12v. Require money, time and a garage for that though, all of which I am lacking!Might be a different ECU, or different software, so not sure how easy it would be to convert (or if there are any benefits other than a determination to fit cats, that most S3C owners are removing).

Hi Tom,
Once you've succeeded in this, I reckon you should consider a production batch, I think a lot of guys out there would be very interested
Just a thought.
Cheers,
Glen
I see I may have accidentally volunteered myself for this! I'm quite happy to make a batch up once I have a working design. I was going to wait until I had a MIG welder before I made anything but if I'm making a batch it makes sense to get someone who knows what they are doing to weld them up. Once you've succeeded in this, I reckon you should consider a production batch, I think a lot of guys out there would be very interested

Glen
No promises but I will do some investigating.
Feel free to keep adding names should anyone want to get on board as it will give me an idea of numbers. No commitment at this stage of course.

But well worth it in the long run eh? Just think of all that accessabilityness. Well worth it IMHO.( I may risk repeating myself if I'm not carefull.)
Undoubtedly. And the bonnet will be much lighter too, after several trial fits with holes drilled in different places. Win-win.
