Aye, that was me Not Piston Ted is it?
Been to Donington and was heading to Duffield to stay with family.
What were you in?
Didn't know you had relatives in Duffield, I lived there, grew up there and still live very near and know an awful lot of folks there.
If you are ever there and fancy a pint in the White Hartlet me know!

Oi raceboy, when u say sunday afternoon, did u really mean sunday evening and u were near j27 o join the drift boys?
I have no idea what you mean. . No it really was mid afternoon, I'd popped to racedad's and now include j27 on my 'hot lap' usually just to wake the bikers up. On a sunny Sunday you can be sure there'll be a dozen or so power rangers sitting at the bottom Sherwood Business Park island trying to get their knees down.
Hi,
Just got in from a drive home from Warwick to Northampton, as I got to the ring road round Northy I was overtook by a black Ferrari, I believe a 360. That is nothing strange but it had side ducts on both sides around 2 foot by i foot. It also had a custom rear panel which four exhausts poked out with electronic vanes in them.
The whole car looked a work in progress (almost a pre release prototype - although obviously not). The two guys in it were giving it some but hard to gauge how quick it actually was (I'm in a diesel). I have worked on many cars including porsches and jaguars and would easily say it in 911 turbo territory.
Anyone have any idea what this car was? My original thought are a turbo conversion or something prodrive are playing with. Just an interesting point on my journey home. I do have some pics but no idea how to get them on here!

Dark Blue Aston Martin DB9 at 8.30pm in Bromsgrove, who stopped at a red light (naturally) and then proceeded to hold me up as it didn't go as it went green! Think he was on his phone. Plod were opposite but didnt do anything.
So if that was you I'd recommend buying the highway code and familiarising yourself with what the colours of a traffic light mean!
