Oh nice - seems to be crossed with the regional BMW owners group so I'll see if I can blag my Alpina in via them!

Do you know any other sources of free meetings info in the area? The last one I went to was the May one! Mind you, the less time I spend listening to loud cars, the less I'm likely to upgrade my car's exhaust system. wink

Have you ever been to the Black Swan meets?

To be honest; The Fairmile is pretty good almost any day through summer for car meets!

I actually ended up at their last one, quite by chance, as I was on a drive with a couple of friends. Good turnout and a lot of rare BMW content, I am hoping to be at their next one but as Dom states, during the summer months you can be sure to see a car gathering most weekends here!

I'm planning to get to the Fairmile tomorrow - I didn't realise there was a BMW theme on the 3rd Sunday each month!

I've been going to the Black Swan for years and there is always a really broad mix of cars.

Denbies vineyard in Dorking have a car meet the first Sunday of the month that is pretty good, with plenty of Aston and Porsche content, but the BMW car Club have a BMW M and Alpina event scheduled there for Sunday 3 September.

There is also a classic meet on the last Sunday of every month at the Pathfinder Cafe at Blackbushe airport.

Thanks. See you tomorrow. I'll be in the older 911 Turbo.

Oh? When did one purchase that weapon?

Mrs.9 will probably drop me off with the mutt, on the way to Sainsburys! We're frugal like that!

2 years ago! 996 Turbo so not as quick as a modern one but still a bit daft on roads around here.

Lush! Can always tickle the map - lots to give!

Just watching the end of the footy and I am on my way!

Yes - lots of potential but am tempted by something Italian and bovine in nature.

Yeah, I'll be late. 7 minutes to go.

Popped along to this in an ancient E34 today - thank you to the organisers and whomever posted up the reminder - I might make it along in September in an M635CSi.

I only stayed for an hour or so, caught up with Hoofy and a couple of the guys from work.

Apologies to anyone who didn't want to be licked by the dog!

Think we'll get new threads started for the subsequent ones as the title here is probably a bit confusing!

Not a brilliant turnout today when you consider 2/3rds were the BMW club but most of the locals are probably still on hols.

Great weather though and the pub wasn't too busy!

Good turn out by the BMW lot, shame there wasn't that much else of interest.

As expected, the GT3 sounded interesting - didn't think that exhaust was standard.

Edit: oh, this was on today: https://www.instagram.com/surreycarmeet/?hl=en

Sure - even I took a photo of it (didn't photo anything else!). As I say, not much of interest, especially compared to the meet I linked to above.
