The 5000M was driven to 5^th place in the final Brands Hatch round of the Heritage GT championship, piloted by TVR’s former owner Peter Wheeler and former marketing director Ben Samuelson.

The 5000M is a brand new replica of the extremely rare 5.0 Ford V8 powered TVR conversions carried out by the Canadian TVR importer in the 1970s – TVR’s answer to the Shelby Cobra. The spectacular new replica was commissioned by Peter Wheeler from former TVR factory engineers Brian Hosfield, Jonathan Greenwood and Mike Vernon – now running their own engineering business from the factory site. Like the original cars, the new racer was built around a 1970s 3000M.
