It's funny how times change: 20 years ago i'd have scorned the owner for sticking some distasteful headlight 'eyebrow' and plastic front splitter to the front, unwarranted AC Schnitzer badges, fake Alpina wheels and a DTM-piped fartbox to it - without poking holes in that numberplate surround and rear BMW badge.. nowadays it's just nice to see them around - always preferred 325i Sports to the M3 of the time for road use, just a lovely combination of engine and chassis. There was a Gilbern GT at Mallory Park yesterday. Never seen one before. Do we post pictures of cars at racetracks on this thread?
