They look like Superlites, like on my green one above. A great-looking wheel.

Sadly the ad seems to say the car is not on those wheels anymore, but on standard RS wheels.

Prob wants to keep them for his next car;)

A set of wheels and tyres is one of the cheapest and easiest things to sort really on a car like that

ow, thats a bit strange, or he keeps them himself or he got a good offer for them and sold them separately?

but indeed wheels you can buy, its abut the right ET and so on to have them right for your car, thats sometimes a search to get that right, the right stance.

Looks reasonably complete, and superficially in not too bad nick as a basis to restore.

Idiot seller needs to learn how to take photo's on his/her phone though.....the half a engine bay shot is funny laugh (unless there's a big hole in the nearside inner wing they don't want to show)

"Was reshelled early in its life so has a dvla issued chassis number but is registered as an rs2000."

So it will never, ever, be a proper one.

Will suit someone wanting an identity for a comp car though, but the price likely won't be anywhere near what the seller might be expecting as a result.

Mind, that bubble arch Mk.1 sold by Mathewsons last month wasnt a real RS2 either in terms of the VIN number, and yet it still went for a stupid 40k....!!

This is my old RS2 !! Knew he would try & flip it !!
I sold it to a w of a French buyer for £5k in circa July 10
The seller bought it back to England last year. The seller contacted me & I gave him loads of info & history about it. I told him to give me first refusal on it, but he said “ I’m keeping it “ I’m pretty p off tbh that he didn’t offer the car back to me.
He buys / sells Escorts, so not suprised he is flipping it ( for a ££ big profit )
