Except that ones's on a different number plate, so presumably not the car sold at auction. Is it also an ex-police car then, with such a similar number?

It was only a fleeting glance a few weeks back. but out on a walk around Bramhall, not far from my parents' house on Easter Sunday, on Manor Road, I caught sight of an open garage, outside of which was something from the very dawn of motoring.
Bolt-upright plate-glass windscreen, 'horse carriage'-style bodywork, spindly wooden wheels on solid tyres and really rudimentary suspension, aftermarket brass-bodied gas headlights, simple numberplate daubed on the grille.
I've absolutely no idea what it was and I didn't get a photo, but it had an unusual Alfa-style shield-shaped grille, framed in brass of course.
Might anyone on here know? At a guess it was very late Victorian or very early Edwardian.

I'm racking my brain for a shield shape marque - Problem is that at that time there were literally hundreds of makes of car available in the UK, and they all tried to establish their individuality by little things like the radiator shape. If it was more of an oval then it could be Spyker, or even a Delaunay-Belleville, but that was a HUGE thing.

Pretty sure I saw a Gordon Keeble on the A6 near Market Harborough yesterday. It going in the opposite direction to me and I was almost out of petrol and rushing home to catch the FA Cup final or I'd have looped back round for a proper spot. Looked lovely, deep burgundy like this one, might even have been this one, who knows?

A bit like the chryslers now a days or is a Lagonda better than a Bentley?? Sorry didn't get anymore photos just grabbed this quick one as I was walking back to the van. :edit: just realised I changed my username since putting this photo up

Very bad picture (I blame my phone. Definitely not to do with the lunch time "sherrys" I had enjoyed earlier) of an aesthetically pleasing couple spotted in Primrose Hill yesterday.
