The car boot - Der Kofferraum the car door - die Autotr the car bonnet - die Motorhaube the torquewrench - den Drehmomentschlssel
All from Google, although I am a bit confused why "den" on the last one. It'll probably be one of those German cases I haven't done yet (Dative ?). The den one is only applicable in the context of a sentence, on it's own it will be another der one. Dative or accusative, I forget which.

dcb said: screwdriver - Schraubenzieher (screw puller !) Actually, this is deprecated. The correct term is actually "Schraubendreher". People over thirty though insist on Schraubenzieher. Some other terms have been adapted as well: Schieblehre (old) - Meßschieber (new) - sliding calliper Zollstock (old) - Gliedermeßstab (new) - folding rule

Maybe try these (whom I am not connected with, but they are in the Köln/Bonn Area) http://www.felgenretter.de/english/index.htmlThey have two numbers listed for english spoken contact. The words to look for are "Alu-Felgenaufbereitung" or "Alu-Felgenreparatur"

Hugo a Gogo said: bremsklötze and bremsbeläge are pretty much interchangeable
if anything I wouuld think of klötze as being more brake shoe (for a drum brake), but it's not strictly just that Klötze are (disc) brake pads and Bremsbacken are (drum) brake shoes. I think Bremsbeläge covers both shoes and pads. Der Nachlauf is castor. Die Spur is toe in or out (described as positive or negative). Camber is der Sturz. Die Starrachse is a live axle, die Einzelradaufhängung is independent suspension (I hope).
