I have reached page 72 of the second manual of the supercar but do not have the long grey crossed pole / rod piece numbered 7, I have tried to retrace my steps and all seems fine.
Could anyone list the left over parts after building model a please.
Do you think Lego will send one out, I need to email them about the excavator parts too. I emailed about the excavator parts and got an email asking what kit they were for, and had i lost the original ones, i think i'll call them

Although if you bought it brand new the chances are it does have all the parts needed, mine did, same numbers on the actuators in the pic above.

Finished the supercar, which I bought to build next week while the wife is away. Great model with excellent features but does feel a bit flimsy when testing the suspension.
Ordering the excavator tonight.

I really have picked up the bug....
With the Supercar already waiting to be built, some casual Lego ebay browsing over the weekend last night resulted in me winning the Ferrari F1 kit as well as the Enzo.
I can't decide whether it was a good thing or bad that I missed out on a further auction, for the 599 GTB Fiorano, after I bailed when the bidding got to £70 (plus a ridiculous £18.95 P&P)!
So, the proposed Rescue Helicopter or Unimog purchase will have to go on hold for a bit (but the order is still yours, Russ, when I'm in funds again!). I suspect I'll have to sell one or two to finance any further buys though - if for no other reason than there just isn't room for them all.....

Which kit numbers did you buy as i have been looking for an Enzo & the Ferrari F1 without any any luck.
I also saw the 599 & as you did I got scared off by the price & the postage.
I'm not sure about the rescue helicopter as it just looks a little bit unexciting IMO. Going to buy the Flatbed Truck this week as can be got from Amazon for £60.00 inclusive of posting.

I have seen the Unimogs new for £105 somewhere but cant think where.

There is a Lego Racers Williams F1 on fleabay at the moment with a starting price of £200.00......... as well as a 599 with a buy it now price of £211.99!!!!
Also stumbled across the 2009 Ferrari F1 with starting bid of £95.00!
Maybe I should have bought the 599 over the weekend.
Oh well. Back to fleabay when I should actually be job hunting again!

I suspect that £108 is still relatively cheap for a hard-to-find kit but already having shelled out £160 or so on Lego in the past few days I decided enough was enough! Fatboy, the F1 Ferrari Racer kit number is 8386 and the Enzo 8653.

Thank you. I bought 8386 a few weeks ago. Didn't cost me too much either. I am after the other Ferrari F1 car, whose model number I cannot remember, & the Enzo if I can find one at a sensible price!

There is also a smaller Enzo kit, which from memory is 8652. That one is 1:17 (from memory) while 8653 is 1:10.

Here is what is displayed on the staircase wall Bought when they first came out. The F1 was a bargain at £65 on sale at Amazon in 2007.

Just how big are they....? It's hard to tell the scale from the photo.
In my mind's eye, I saw them as being maybe 30-40cm long. Are they larger than that....?

I saw these two way back in the thread. Although I want the Enzo it is the F1 car I want first so off to find the kit number & then to trawl fleabay to see if I can find one.
Should be job hunting however it gets demoralising so Lego building helps keep me sane!!
A quick trip to fleabay reveals two of the F1 cars - one for £199.00 & the other for £250.00.
Somehow dont think i'll be chasing either of those!!!!!

Not Technic Lego, but I've just taken delivery of the Shuttle Expedition. I'm really looking forward to building this, my renewed interest in Lego has really peaked, ever since my two boys started to get into Lego City.

Where did you get the Shuttle from & can I ask what it cost you? Cheapest I can find it anywhere is £82.00.
My Lego collection is slowly taking over the house. The excavator is in pieces all over the dining room table, I bought the Flatbed truck yesterday from Toys R Us for £60 & my 7 year old has today decided to start building the Supercar again so you can imagine the state of the dining room & the living room!
SWMBO is not happy........
BTE. Russ. Did you get my email yesterday?

I couldn't find it cheaper anywhere else at the time. We also bought the boys a batch of Series 4 and 5 minifigures (stashed away for good behaviour rewards) that are currently £1.39 each, and a children's party kit. I also bought it through TopCashBack, and got 5% cashback on it all. Delivery was £3.95, but only took 2 days from The Netherlands.
