Strange that this post came up. Received a message from my dad today asking 'What the hell do you want me to do with these things?'.
They've been gathering dust for a fair few years now and I think it's safe to say my old room can now become the snooker room or swingers room, or what ever else old people do in there retirement days.
If you decide to sell the AutoArt Porsche's, PM me. They've been gathering dust for a fair few years now and I think it's safe to say my old room can now become the snooker room or swingers room, or what ever else old people do in there retirement days.
I've got over 180 1:18 scale models, although most of them are now back in their original boxes in my loft.
I need to take some decent pics of the ones I do have on display though, approx. 38 in my livingroom & dining room which are mostly old Fords, modern Bentleys and 10 Porsche 911's.

Thanks for sharing RDMcG, that Porsche is particularly nice I notice we have the same M6 (dealer edition by Kyosho).
Get some pics up Oobster.
Just bought another one on ebay.
Out of interest, has anyone gone so far as to make a diorama for their models?
The M6 was sent to me by BMW when I bought the M6..a nice gesture.Get some pics up Oobster.

That is absolutely stunning mate !!! I really want a 1967 Camaro coupe in 1:18 but I can't find the right one, it needs to have hideaway headlights and not have a front lower spoiler or a rear boot lip spoiler, bonus points for red interior and black exterior ! I am trying to get/make a model of my car !
I also want to know if there is a supplier for different wheels and other parts for 1:18 models, I have a couple of Opel Mantas that are not quite right and need little parts changing.

The newest acquisition, the Minichamps Tic Tac E30 M3. A few shots with my favourite E46 M3 GTR.
It's a nice model, but if I'm honest, it's absolutely spanked in terms of quality and detail by the new model.
This second hand example isn't in the best of condition. The wiper is missing and 2 of the 3 metal ringlets on the bonnet are missing. At least it was cheap(ish). Any ideas where one can buy spares to repair this?
Still awaiting the blue E30 M3 and I've recently won a Minichamps Z1 and an E46 WTCC Andy Priaulx 320i. This addiction needs to stop!!

I went into Cardiff yesterday as my C4s needed a front screen, so I had a walk around the shops just to kill time and wandered into Model Zone and admired the Porsche 935 (same as the on in StuG's pics) and also the Rothmans 962 they had in there, but priced at £149 each I couldn't justify one let alone both at the minute and walked off.
After lunch I still hadn't been called to say that my car was ready so went back for another look and noticed they had a sale on but these two were still marked up at full price.
I asked the assistant "I don't suppose those two are in the sale?" and on checking he came back to me with "you might be surprised. £75 each." I replied "I'll take them."
The wife doesn't know yet, but I don't think that it will help when she realises that the postman woke us up this morning delivering a 1:43 Porsche 917K as driven by the god that is Richard Attwood.
Bloody expensive hobby/habit this, but it's cheaper and more legal than drugs!

I have been to Modelzone Cardiff several times. They always seem to have some reasonable offers on in there. After lunch I still hadn't been called to say that my car was ready so went back for another look and noticed they had a sale on but these two were still marked up at full price.
