The 1:18 model car thread - pics & discussion
Discussion
Picked this up from a Dutch seller recently - SD Model Car Tuning was really good with quick tracked delivery to the UK.

This is probably my favourite individual rally car of all time, Ford Sierra Cosworth D541UVW used by Jimmy McRae to win the 1988 British Open Rally Championship, then later by Colin on the 1989 RAC. On top of which I used to drive a Cosworth daily back in the day so I love them, plus Dad was involved in the development (photo from the Ulster Rally website)

I now have this in 1/64 (shown recently on the Hot Wheels thread), 1/32 Spanish Scalextric, approximate 1/32 Matchbox diecast, 1/24 scratch-build based on a Tamiya kit, and this in 1/18! I guess I should hunt out a 1/43 for completion sake…

Spark come up trumps again
I reckon Spark offer the best high quality value for money 1:18 and 1:43 diecast models currently available. They are equal or better to Minichamps at a significantly cheaper price, and AutoArt have priced themselves out of the game completely.

I've never had a Spark model as they don't make any marques that I collect. Think I have only one 1:18 Minichamps model but have loads of 1:43 which are really good. Totally agree about AutoArt, I have quite a lot of 1:18 and 1:43 models but have stopped buying them due to the ridiculous prices
Looking for a bit of opinion / guidance
I've lost interest in collecting, so I've decided to get rid of my collection of 1/18 Ferrari road cars. There's 58 of them, but I'm keeping one (a UT Models F355GTS). All are Rosso Corsa, but every model is different. All bar one have boxes and every one of them is in a clear perspex case.
I think I know the answer to this, but I'll ask.... Should I try to sell as a job lot, or should I resign myself to the hassle of selling via Ebay one at a time? I imagine the market for a large collection is pretty small.
Thoughts?

What make are they all?
You could put them in an auction (several companie sell model cars) and they can decide how best to sell them, job lot, several lots or all individually
Could list them on here and on the selling thread in 'scale models'. Maybe sell all or a few
Do you have any 458's?
Edit, Vectis are the biggest auctioneers i think
