I have finished all the odds, ends, antennas, lumps and bumps.

Just need to put it together now.
Propeller tips?
I see more painting in my future.

I had just finished rigging it too…

Very nice result there! I like the gas detection panel. Dark Earth can be a problematic colour and always looks different in photos. I used it for the first time last year on a full size machine and sprayed out a fairly large test panel before proceeding.

I didn’t use dark earth. I used flat earth… I’m a conspiracy theorist.

Thought I’d post a few more pictures. Just imagine the propeller tips are the correct colour..

Probably best to ignore the last one. That’s my next project.

That looks very nice indeed.
I also admire the fact that you got it finished in a reasonable time. I wish I could finish projects so quickly.

There is a description of N9732's action in which two Bf109s were claimed here

It appears that in addition to the dorsal turret, the pilot had a fixed machine gun and there were two more on locally produced flexible mounts in the cabin.

It is claimed that 500Sqn fitted one, or possibly two 20mm cannon where the toilet used to be. It was thought to have been used at unsuspecting E-Boats, but there are stories of Me-109's getting a nasty surprise when thinking they were attacking the soft underbelly of an Anson.
