I saw a camo-ed Mini last week in Italy with DRLs as a horizontal bar in the middle of the light, not the o-shape.
The back of the thing looks rotten.

And that's from an F57 cabrio 2nd facelift Cooper S owner.....

I mean they were st then and they didn't make any reliable improvements over the years, so they were shot to the end.
Dad had a 59 mini, which had 3 gearboxes under warranty.
I had a 74 1000, a 78 1100 clubman a 79 850 and an 88 1000. They were all st.
Why did you buy four of them if they were st?

We had a 1964 Mini 850. When we sold it in 1970 the buyer didn't want the Britax seat belts I had fitted. When I turned the spanner on the bolt holding the bracket at the base of the door pillar the complete fitting pulled out of the pillar due to major rust. The sills were also so rusty the car couldn't be jacked up. The car didn't move & the jack went through the sills. I knocked a bit off the price & the buyer drove away in it!

My daughter had an early BMW MINI Cooper on which the electric power steering failed 3 times in a year.

Hopefully the Mini One she has just bought will be better.
