Forum favourite (ha ha) John Higgins missed the yellow at the Saudi event yesterday and with it the chance to be the first to make the '167' break with the golden ball and pocket a cool £395,000.

Watched it last night, a proper Circus of a show. Says sold out, but really 50ish people in the audience. Then when it looked like the maximum was on , about 10 reds / blacks, loads of people walked in mid frame, and generally just standing about in the seats. Not of the usual security stopping people roam in and out mid frame.

Higgins stopping playing and laughed in disbelief at the shambles of it all!

And lets not mention Jack in the full Arab dress! Ken and Higgins both wetting themselfs on Eurosport. I think Jack lost a bet.

I don’t think there will be many stats as one-sided as that ROS - Higgins match! Only 4 points on the board and that was from a foul: remarkable.

Must have been some good odds on Higgins not potting a ball wink

Ronnie in GOAT mode for the last 4 frames tonight.

Golden ball prize doubled to a million dollars for next year.

Indeed it was.

Push shot or not? Mad that in the mid session, that they were both on the same table replaying and discussing it!

Looking for a Mark Williams win today.

Noticed Ronnie pulls his left hand along the table just ahead of the cue ball on screw shots, wonder if he does that to speed the white up a bit if it's short of pace?

He was applying a plaster to his hand at one stage--don't know what he'd done.

ROS vs Willo hopefully for the final.

Allen is getting a bit hard to watch these days.

Allen's Poundland Selby impersonation doesn't seem to be doing him much good today. In snooker there is not much finer than watching a dullard getting trounced.

In fairness to him Williams is playing out of his skin, can't remember seeing such a consistently high all round level for so long by anybody.

He's played great all week.

Do wish Allen would get on with it though, takes him well over a minute to play what often turns out to be a bang average shot.

And continues the run in the evenings session with a140 clearance!

I noticed 10-0 was 600/1 yesterday!

Maybe the Chinese have got to them tongue out

Allen playing so negatively even when he's given a chance.
