You could be out of luck as excluding the teams etc, the paddock passes are generally only available to GRRC members, and cannot be bought.

In any case only about 1/3 of the paddocks need a pass to get in to, the rest are open to the public anyway.

Hi Chaps - thanks for all the replies...most interesting!
I note that are few are starting to appear on eBay now so thanks for the heads up.
Suspect I may not want to pay as much as they have been going for so shall watch with interest anyway.
Thanks, S.

There is a central paddock that you need a pass to get in. That is where the high end vehicles tend to be.
However, it's not a paddock surrounded by high fencing, just a simple timber picket fence. You can get very close to a large number of cars and still be outside the paddock. Get the timing right and you can be standing behind a row of GT40's as they start or perhaps the Ferrari breadvan.
The main paddock area has no fencing.
The revival is a busy place and I would suggest you visit the paddock area as earlyas you can if it's your first visit just to scope out the layout. There is plenty of opportunity to get close and personal with the cars as they head for the circuit as well.
I can't imagine any member selling paddock passess.

Not been before and with the combination of being like a giddy kipper and paranoid on missing out on anything, paddock passes seemed the way to go! Open to loads of advice so anything else you can proffer would be welcomely received!! Cheers!

My suggestion if you want to watch racing close up is to yomp your way around to the far side of the circuit to the St Mary's corner - virtually no crowds, you're almost on top of the cars, some great cornering there and the occasional spectacular spin. My favourite place.

Use the TT to take a tour of the circuit. Defo stop for a bit at St Marys...great racing spectacle there. If space, make your main viewing areas Madgewick or the chicane.

Seen as the main race of the weekend and is an hour long with 2 drivers. Info here: http://www.goodwood.co.uk/revival/the-races/royal-...Agree with the others, get round the back of the circuit as there's plenty of space and it's mighty fast / impressive.

Ah, of course!
Sound advice chaps, thank you!
Right - is there any one thing I simply must see or do during the weekend...something that absolutely must be done?
Cheers, S.

Get yourself to Madgewick for one of the airshows and have the Spits and 51s land/take off over your head. Bit magical that.
Watch at least some of the TT from St. Marys.
Pete Hardman in the DBR1 and Wizzo in...well anything...down at Woodcote. The DBR1 is outgunned by the D-Types and usually thingybob/(Dron?) in the Dino buggers off to win, but Hardman gives it absolutely everything every lap, wrings the neck out of it and at Woodcote esp. he is 110% every lap. If Wizzo has got his hands on an A34 or A40 again, then defo get down to Woodcote to watch him in whichever race it is (Fordwater Cup?, Chichester Trophy?) because frankly the bloke is insane in those things.

Woodcote is my favourite corner (of any UK circuit). Get down to the entry point, very impressive and should be some space - although you may have to move when planes are doing their thing..
