Has anyone ordered a Sportline? (I know, I know it’s not the point!!)
I’m seriously considering one.
Me too - really keen to hear if anyone has collected one to share driving impressions. Seems like it could be the perfect family daily to me! Need one on the Honda press fleet asap whilst we can't do test drives...I’m seriously considering one.
Still looking at getting one. Some dealers are playing on the fact it's done and think people will pay £40k for a blue one. Do love that new blue though. As much as I want the face lift I'm not sure budget will stretch to one yet. May get a 2019 one instead unless I can work out the man maths.

Have you tried using CarWow to get a quote and then you can go to your local dealer with a number that you know you can get elsewhere?ThisInJapanese said:

That is amazing, congrats! Only 20 in the UK so you'll enjoy a bit of exclusivity to say the least. Does it drive better than the regular FK8 in any noticeable way?
I have a GR Yaris as my daily so will be interesting to compare them

Hi, I’ve never driven a regular one I’m afraid so can’t comment. I’ve only driven this 100 miles or so. Initial impression is that I love the steering and general chassis set up, and the damping (in comfort) is very impressive. I haven’t missed the air in and sat nav (yet). Early days.

I was pondering the gr last year but in the end went for a type r.I have a GR Yaris as my daily so will be interesting to compare them
I think a real life comparison of the two would be very interesting indeed.
Have fun. I'm sure you will.

I've heard on a few occasions journalists referring to the FK8 Limited Edition as the hot hatch equivalent of the 911 GT3. Based on that I think you'll certainly enjoy the car.Dave_T said:

Indeed that would be a great comparison. Would love to hear your thoughts on them further down the line. Two of the best hot hatches on sale today IMO There's a decent video comparing the GRY and FK8 LE from Matt Prior of Autocar, worth checking out if you haven't already.

I was the opposite, was set on the FK8 until I test drove the GRY and ended up placing an order. Wouldn't rule out an FK8 in the future. Both are superb cars and I'm just glad they exist.Dave_T said:

Love the yellow, enjoy!!!
An epic car, for sure.
I genuinely considered keeping mine over a GT-R, on the basis I could have more fun at legal speeds in the civic. It was a very tight call in the end but the big Datsun just squeaked ahead.
With the result, if anyone is planning to use theirs when the colder / wetter / snowier weather comes around, there's a very well priced set of 4x 19" Type R winter wheels and tyres in the classifieds currently 😇
With a free 20" FK8 wheel and tyre thrown in for good measure....

Emailed re the wheels - last winter was interesting with a few runs to Braemar where there was a foot of snow I genuinely considered keeping mine over a GT-R, on the basis I could have more fun at legal speeds in the civic. It was a very tight call in the end but the big Datsun just squeaked ahead.
