Cold, not as bad as expected though. Turnout was a bit down but hopefully next year it should pick up again.

Weather's not looking good frown

But at least we'll be able to wash the car as they're lifting the hosepipe ban just for this event!

Still seems to be going ahead (more rain forecast between now and Sunday though, so still half expecting it to be water logged again). The Woburn Abbey website states it's been now moved from the Deer Park to the Safari Park. I guess it will be signposted.

I looked this morning and there was no mention of it, but I can see it now on the website... I better check if dogs (no, I'm not referring to Mrs Q wink ) are still allowed there!

Doesn't look like it:

•No pets or dogs are permitted into the Safari Park and kennel facilities are not provided.

Good Afternoon Fellow Enthusiast,

15th Bedfordshire Classic Motor Show Exhibitor Passes

A quick update for those of you planning to use your exhibitor passes and join us on Sunday for the Fathers’ Classic Day Out at Woburn Abbey – the weather is playing havoc with our plans again but I am pleased to advise that the show will take place in the grounds of the Safari Park.

All passes previously issued for the 6th & 7th May will be honoured – please follow instructions on the pass and the follow signs for ‘Exhibitor/Trade’. Gates will be open for entry from 9.00am until 11.00am only. The passes are not valid for entry at the main entrance.

Our Judges will be on site and we are holding our concours competition and handing out some fantastic new awards. You will also have the opportunity to join us on a show convoy through the animal enclosure at 5pm (sorry no convertibles)

Hope to see you.

This is a general circular to all owners registered for the 15th Bedfordshire Classic Motor Show postponed on the 6th & 7th May – if you have any friends or club members who may not receive emails please feel free to let them know –thank you.
Not sure I'll be staying till 5 though wink

Car washed and it looks now like it at least is going to stay dry tomorrow. This certainly has been one of the longest waits for an event smile

See you there!

The weather seems to taking its toll this year on all events so don't feel bad about not
attending events so far!!

The only one so far that went ahead was Shuttleworth, and I was the only car in the pistonheads park.
One other pistonheads did turn up, with a Tank....... yes they did... and went to the military section away for pistonheads, leaving me on me todd. It was blooming freezing, and you needed gloves on to keep warm.

I will try to arrange something for Knebworth if people are up for it. It could just be that some sun comes out just for a while later in the year. We can only live in hope.
This global warming is indeed a terrible thing.

gadgit.

nice pictures Griff!!

Please let me know if you are interested in knebworth. It would be good to have all the cars that went to Woburn safari area (which is the only one I couldn't make)

Kimbolton, cancelled..................
Bury St Edmonds......cancelled and the list will continue no doubt.

If we have enough cars, there will be pistonheads at Knebworth this year !!!!
And there will be plenty of room there for everyone.

Knebworth doesn't have a safari park. It has a dinosaur trail but not sure that is the same, don't think the dinosaurs are real as they haven't moved in years.

I would like to come to Knebworth in August if there is a presence.
